I think he has one of the most beautiful voices ever. Whenever I hear Moon River, I tear up. It reminds me of nights when my parents (both now gone) would put that record on and listen.

I also remember watching his Christmas specials for years.

I hope if he is near the end, he is surrounded by family and love. His music brought so much joy to so many.

Given the reports of him returning home to Branson for his last days, I am sure everyone close to him is doing just that. His wife and three children are with him and I am trying to see if there are any reports of close friends and associates arriving in Branson.

The report below was published earlier this month in a well known tabloid (which gets grudging respect for acurately breaking numerous major stories, including the John Edwards affair with Reille Hunter and Bristol Palin's pregnancy during the 2008 Presidential campaign). It outlines in detail the seriousness of Williams health issues, stating that after rounds of radiation treatments and chemotherapy, his bladder cancer not only returned but metastasized. It also states he has lost significant weight and his hair.

On the positive side, it also states his ex wife Claudine Longet is with him in Branson, along with his present wife Debbie and children Noelle, Christian and Bobby.

As I read it I believe it says his three children who he had with Claudine Longet are there along with his wife Debbie...not that Claudine is specifically there.

I saw him perform in Branson in 2002. It was their Christmas show, I would rather have seen the regular one but he did sing Moon River. I bought a CD that he signed, have it on my IPOD now and listen to it a lot.

I remember he talked about what his children were doing and his wife, and what a great life he had in Branson. I wish him well.
