Since When Do I Have To Pay For Room Only BEFORE I Arrive?

We had a package booked and when the CTH code came out, we switched to the code. It says at the bottom of our confirmation that we have to have the remainder of the balance paid off by the 27th. This is a room only rate. In the past we've always been able to pay for our room when we arrived.

It must be a WDTC reservation.

There was a thread on the boards yesterday about this. When they called to check CM said they could pay when they checked in. I would call and confirm this for yourself. Then you wouldn't have to worry.

I BOOKED TODAY THRU CRO AND WAS TOLD I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY THE TOTAL UNTIL I CHECKED IN.

I agree, call and check. BUT, since CRO and WDTC have been mreging, you could possibly have gotten even just a room booked by someone doing it through WDTC. This happened to me the first time I booked but I called back and had it changed. The guy I talked to was great and told me they were experiencing this happening quite a bit and had some very unhappy customers. Best of luck!! Hope you get a cm as great as I did on my second call!
