Sorry, the other threads had me thinking of where to stay away from and what the best desserts are..

But has anyone had the asian buffet at the Islands Dining Room on Saturday nights? It was SO good! The fresh dumpling station, pulled pork and these little shots of a really smooth fruit juice.. all to die for. Oh and the soup was so good.. like a seafood chowder. I was so impressed. I think it was like $26.99 per person. (I would've taken pictures of all the food but I was already embarassed because the guy behind the dumpling station had already seen me call my friend in Miami to say "I am at.. an amazing asian buffet.. in the Islands Dining Room.. in Royal Pacific.. YOU NEED TO DRIVE HERE RIGHT NOW.")

I also had dinner at the Orchid Court Lounge/Sushi Bar.. SO GOOD! I was looking for a menu for it just now but I had this roll.. that also had like mango, strawberries and on top a really thinly sliced kiwi.. all the fish and fruit were so fresh. It was amazing.. I paired this up with a more traditional Volcano roll.. one of the best I've had. The service was really good. I have to have dinner here every trip from now on.

If I wasn't sure about Royal Pacific being my favorite resort, these two dinners pushed me over the edge.

Okay, I have to go back to work. I can't keep talking about food.

Thanks for the tip and now I will have to try that buffet in july cause the wife loves that type of food and come to think about it DS 11 does too

The Asian buffet sounds great, unfortunately this visit our Saturday is Heart at Mardi and I'll be queuing early for front of stage:banana: :worship: , but good to know for future trips

We will try it during our trip to Univ in July! How is the sushi bar in the hotel?

I guess I'd better plan on brining lots of sushi money!
