What are some good chargers to take with you so you are not constantly searching for a charging station or losing fun time by watching your phone charge?

What criteria is important? I am looking for something small but fast.

(Please include your type of phone, if applicable.)

I plan on using the Mophie Juice Pack for my iPhone 5S. Depending on which one you get, you can get 80-100% battery life beyond your iPhone battery.

I have a powerrock 6800. I can charge my iPhone two and a half times. They sell them on Amazon.

I use a New Trent, but the model I have has been replaced. It has ports for both an iPhone(or USB charge-compatible) and another for an iPad. I can recharge my iPhone 4 fully twice with some left over. The battery is slightly smaller than my phone. I got mine for less than $25 on Amazon. I used it our last trip and am brining it again for this one! New Trent and others make a few different sizes and styles, anything from a lipstick-sized battery with one charge to larger ones that will recharge your iPhone 3-5 times. I chose mine based on reviews, and definitely recommend reading the reviews on Amazon wore buying one. Hope it helps!!!

Patriot Fuel+ 7800 Mah. Used it several times in both Disney and Vegas and it works well.

I also got a portable USB charger with 2 ports so I charge both it and the phone overnight.

Meh - my wife and I both use our phones all day long in WDW with no need to recharge until that night when we went to bed. She has an iPhone (5), I have a Droid (Razr MAXX HD).

I used an Anker 15000. Charges my razr maxx about 3 times. I was in the park open to close and used my phone for camera too. I knew I needed a big charger! Has 2 charging ports as well. It does weigh a pound or so but didn't notice it when it was in my backpack.

I got a solar set up at Goal Zero

http://www.goalzero.com/

It works a couple ways.

1) I can charge a phone directly

2) I can charge a battery pack, which in turn charges a phone. I get 2-3 phone charges off 1 charged battery pack.

Battery pack can be charged using an outlet using a usb cable.

I have not used it at any park but plan on hooking it to my back pack.

I have the LifeForm Core 8400 mAh Battery Pack from Amazon. I charged 2 phones from almost dead to full power at the same time and still had more than 1/2 battery left. Mine is a Samsung Galaxy 2 and my friend's phone that I charged is an iPhone.

I got it when there was an Amazon Local Deal for 50% off Kindle accessories. I love it!!!

Wow...I have a RAZR maxx as well and my phone was dead by 1 maybe 2 at the latest. It is old though...got it mar 2012 so maybe that's why. I was using 4g lte instead of Disney wifi.

Me too, iPhone 4. Even taking pictures and sending messages

I use a Lenmar Wave 7000. About $45 on Amazon. I love it because it can charge our iPhones, iPads and even Camera batteries. It can charge the phone and the iPad simultaneously, although that is slower than one at a time. It will charge multiple devices multiple times, so all three of us can keep our phones charged. It recharges quickly overnight, and is about the size of a mans wallet. Lightweight as well. We love it - a must-have WDW accessory!

I was thinking about this same thing and went on Amazon this morning to look at portable chargers. A lot of them get really bad reviews. I am searching for the best for an iPhone 4. I will definitely subscribe to this tread to see what everyone is replying. :) Mine usually keeps a full battery until the end of the day unless I am constantly on it all day long, but I like to have the backup.

I will absolutely be looking into solar solutions, especially something I could velcro to the outside of my camera backpack or a stroller (thought we're quickly exiting the Age of Strollers).

1) Go to Amazon.com

2) Purchase one or two additional phone batteries and a wall charger
(less than $20. bucks)

3) Charge both additional batteries and you phone before you leave (wall charger takes about an hour per battery)

4) Take one or both additional batteries to the park with you in a ziploc bag (takes up very little space)

5) Replace battery in phone as needed, no need to waste time charging in the park

6) Return to your hotel at the end of the day, charge phone and charge additional batteries with wall charger

7) Profit

I was working all day while touring a couple of times, so continuously using the phone. I took many pictures and used the WDW apps all day long, too. I connected to wifi when inside the building with weak 4G connectivity (like in the Soarin' queue). Otherwise I turned off the wifi and used 4G. The only thing that I disabled was the GPS as it becomes a real power drag in WDW because of the inside attractions. Maybe try turning off the GPS service when not in use.

My phone has a huge HD screen, and I still had more than 50% power remaining at the end of most days.
