My daughter left her wallet behind at OKW last week in the restroom outside the store. We didn't realize it until 2 days later and figured it was a lost cause. When we got home I called just for the heck of it and someone had turned it in. OKW is sending it out to us. If it just happened to be someone who reads these boards thanks so much. Just a teenagers wallet, no cash but lots of friends pictures that she was heart broken to have lost. Just a little more DVC pixie dust I guess.

It's always nice to hear about these kinds of things, especially in this day and age of dishonesty!

I stayed at CS with friends in Feb. One friend found a purse or wallet in the ladies room near the lobby and turned it in at the front desk. Then later in the trip, she found a purse sitting on a bench coming off RnR at MGM. We took it to a CM by the ToT fastpass machines. A few minutes later, another friend was waiting in line at the food stand near there and a woman in front of her was talking about losing her purse! She asked her to describe it and it was the same one! She told her we gave it to the CM near ToT, so she went over there to find out where to go! This same friend left her camcorder on the back of a chair at McDonalds at AK. We only went a short distance when she realized it. She ran back and it was still there! We told her it was her reward for finding those other 2 purses and turning them in! :)

Last month, while staying at DxL (on points) I lost my gold earring. Although the trip wasn't one of our best, I happily recieved my gold earring in the mail the following week. I, too, posted to thank whomever found it. Isn't it great that there are still some honest people around???

I also was on vacation with my family April vacation. We stayed at the Boardwalk, while playing in the game room, we also found a backpack fill with gifts. My daughter and myself turned it in to the front desk, I was wondering if anyone out there has claimed this.... We have also left things behind and they mailed them right out to us... Some people in Disney are so honest, I wish everybody out there was..... I am glad your daughter was able to get her wallet back.

This past February, while at MK, I found a child's hopper pass laying on top of the FastPass terminal for Buzz Lightyear.

We turned it in, and the CM said it still had 3 or 4 days still on it. (She knew how to read the usage - the day we found it was the first day it had been used).

I have no idea if it ever got back to the owner. Don't know if Disney could even track who bought it, unless they have any kind of s/n on them that they can track back to a credit card number or room number or something.

We'll never know ourselves, but can only hope it eventually got back to the rightful owners.

Just a reminder. When you use those FastPass machines, don't forget to put your ticket safely away afterwards.
