Has anyone purchased from a jewelry store in New York City called Since 1910? It's online store, I think. I just wanted reviews before my son goes and spends thousands on a engagement ring for his girlfriend.

The store is H.L. Gross & Bro Garden City, Long Island, NY they have an excellent reputation. That being said is he sure he wants to purchase something so very expensive/important via internet? I would go somewhere and see in person.

To answer your question, relatives have made purchases over the decades at their brick & mortar location. Always satisfied.

The reason he asks is the because the ring he wants is a lot cheaper online through Since 1910 to the local jewelers.

Well congratulations to him ! Seems like their guarantees/warranties are the same so he should be fine. I was tempted to look at the rings on sale, but I resisted. Maybe for our 30th next year
