Sims computer game. Did you know?

Just a head's up in case your kids are playing the game and you didn't know. My DD12 loves The Sims. She plays it on the computer and on her PS2. We have had a rule that she may play the Sims but she is no supposed to make the charactors have sex (if that's xxed out, the word I'm referring to is like nooky ). Well, she broke the rule and now has to go a week with no computer games. Seems fair to me. Anyway, I was very surprised when I mentioned this to other parents that they didn't even know the Sims could have sex. Just thought I'd bring it up on the Dis in case any other parents out there didn't know.
BTW-yes we do keep an eye on her at our house while she's on the computer, this incident happened at a friend's house. Don't want to get flamed for being a lousey parent.

Great, just great. Is there a way to block that function? I didn't know they had that. Is that on all the versions?

It's not in the original version, they just twirl around and around and viola there's a baby. But in some of the add-ons and in the Sims 2, they actually have sex, under the covers, but they do have sex.

yes, it does. Just in case u people want to know, in the Sims 2 it is called "Woo Hoo". Just so u can avoid doing the action without knowing
(it is done all under covers of a bed with giggling noises)

I have a single female Sim with my name and a Male Sim with my husband's name. Everytime I would try to climb into bed with him he would get out and run away.

Later, I found out that I'm a lesbian -- after two sisters from a house across town moved in with me. We are all very happy together though. We had adopted a baby but I got tired of taking care of it and I just left it on the floor in the kitchen.

With the new Open For Business EP coming out soon, I can open my urn store. I'll have an elevator in the back and Sims can woo hoo in it, cause it to plumet and I'll have more merchandise.....LOL!

They can also "Woo Hoo" in the hot tubs in Sims 2. Like others have mentioned the game is rated T for teens.

So how does she get new family members? You see less than when they are showering. BTW they can do it in the bed but they can also do it in the hottub. What if the guy get abducted by an alien and has an alien baby. Is he allowed to stargaze (how to get abducted)?

You can make a sim do it with both same sex and opposite sex at the same time. Just make sure they are not both in the home when you are paying attention to the other one. The sims don't have a preference, you have to make them get to a point in their relationship where they are happy enought with each other to want to sleep in the same bed. You can hire a nanny to help with the baby.
