I have a 5 year old and 7 year old, is this ride too intense for them. My 5 year old is not into thrill rides and I don't want to start his day off on the wrong foot.

Thanks

The Simpsons ride is similar in intensity to Stars Tours (I think). There is nothing scary in it but it does bounce you around a bit. It is a simulator.

Hey

My little sister loves the Simpsons so we took her on this ride - she was 3 and a half at the time. She found it ok, that is she didn't love it, but wasn't scared. It's a bit bouncy, depends what you classify as thrilling I suppose.

My sons rode when they were 4 and 7. Neither had a problem with it. The ride doesn't actually move enough to be scary if they close their eyes. My boys love the Simpsons and they love the ride.

As long as they don't suffer from motion sickness, they should be fine.

It's true about motion sickness or claustrophobia. I am a wimp with motion sickness, but I can handle this ride okay. I have to take a little break afterward, but try to get the front of the car to help with that if needed. I have heard that car 6 is actually the best view. For the claustrophobia, if you feel a twinge, ask to leave the door open in the ready room, and look around when you are in the theater. It really is a wide open space. They tell you to cross your arms over your chest if you approach freak out, but mostly I think that is a psychological ploy because knowing how to get out nearly always alleviates the problem.

Thank you for mentioning this! I haven't been on this ride yet, so I have no idea how it is enclosed. The older I get, the more claustrophobic I get. :sad2: Is this ride about the size of Star Tours? That I can handle. But I can't handle the "in your face" enclosure of Mission Space. Thanks for any more info. :flower3:

There are a loads of cars (can't remember how many - sorry) all moving to the same screen, think more Soarin' than M:S or ST.
If you feel claustrophobic you can see (if you look for it) the fronts of the other cars and you will realise you aren't enclosed at all.
Hope I've helped!
