Simple way to see characters

I have read a bunch of posts where people hate having to stand in line to see the characters. When we went on the 7 day, we just checked the Navigator and the board in the lobby to see when the characters were going to be there and we went not more than 10 minutes before that time and never had to wait more than 20 minutes. The lines weren't longer that 7 people deep-this worked great for us and will do it again on the next cruise in July.
