If we’re trying to avoid elevators to get in and out of the building to the pool area, is that a request for first floor or the third floor?

Or does it vary by entrance?

First floor if you want to avoid elevators/stairs. Third floor is lobby level which can be convenient, but you will need the elevator or stairs to get down to the pools.

As noted above, 1st floor for the pool but 3rd floor for the lobby/shops/parking. That makes it a bit difficult/impossible to avoid elevators or stairs during your stay. At some point you'll need to go up/down to get to your destination.

OP said trying to avoid elevators.. Nothing about avoiding stairs. Perhaps second floor would be best since you only have to go down or up one floor each time you leave. Down for pool. Up for lobby. Of if you aren't going to leave the hotel much and plan all days being pool days, then first floor.

We were on the 2nd floor our past trip and rarely used the elevators because of that location was great to get upstairs or to the pool/beach.

Thanks. I’m mostly worried about the pool since that’s when we’ll inevitably be running back to our room eleventeen times for all the stuff we forgot.

I appreciate the replies everyone!!

2nd floor is best I think for what you are looking floor. First floor rooms tend to be darker and a little damp. Sometimes they can be noisier and in some cases, close to the walkways.

I am very confident my children will be the loudest people at the resort, despite my wife and I’s best efforts. 🤣

Milkshakes are the only thing that keep my grandtinker from being loud. Skinny straw milkshakes work best because they make the shake last longer!

Yeah we were in the 2nd floor came to love it... just one stairway away from pool or lobby. Soo convenient.

I cant remember when your trip is/was. Have you went yet? If so, curious your thoughts on the room you got.

Next month! We wound up getting a standard view so we kinda know where we’ll be and the only question is which floor. I’ll let you know!
