I pronounce it "cable car".
See, when it comes out of my mouth it sounds more like, "magical highway in the sky". I'm from PA, so maybe that has something to do with it.

He grew up skiing, so I figure he knows.
This is how I say it too. I've never head anyone say it differently around VancouverI didn't know there were other ways!
That said, I think lots of things are pronounced oddly by Americans XD Buoy and foyer really throw me...

Might correlate with where someone grew up. East coast, midwest or west coast. I see the same difference in how people pronounce the word 'OFTEN'. Silent T or not?
Do you have regional differences in prouncing certain words in Canada too?
