no i dont like them. they are on the radio alot, so i kno their songs but i really am tired of the whines and the "my dad hates me so im gonna talk about how bad that makes me feel" there are a ton of them out there. so if ppl WANT to do that kind of lyrics, find a NEW and DIFFERENT way.

simple plan is so dang catchy, but thier lyrics suck pretty bad. how hard is it to write "i'd do anything just to hold you in my arms and try to make you laugh, somehow i can't put you in the past." thats easy crapola.

boy aren't you hard. they are punk. blink is more pop punk and sum 41 is almost metal punk. if you say otherwise just try and play one of their solos on guitar. if you can then go play a metallica one, the structure of the solos are very similar.

Woah! In NO way am I saying or was I implying that I'm like hardXcore becuase I'm not, but I DO know my genres of music. Is there really suck a thing as "pop punk"? Punk and pop are at the two different ends of the music spectrum and pop is was punk didn't want to be; POPULAR. And if you mean pop as in Britney Spears, well that doens't make sense because I don't hear that in Blink. And sum41? Metal punk? Don't make me laugh. They are in the same place as Blink. Both of them are just an "altervative rock" band. Face it, neither of the bands are punk. They may have punk influences, but they aren't punk.

When did punk rock become so safe, when did the scene become a joke?
