I got a good size crease from a shopping cart the other day in my new car....UGH....does anyone have any experince with a Pops-A-Dent??? I see advertised on tv?? Are they a waste of money or do they work??? thanks:(

We used it after our neighbor put a dent in our car door. The dented area was about six inches by five inches and the Pops-a-dent worked well enough, although I think it would have worked much better for a smaller dent. The car door just looks a little ripply now. It's best not to overdo it, because if you do, one part of the dent looks perfect but the other side starts looking even more dented. It's definitely worth trying.

If it's an actual crease instead of a dent, I think it might not work. I know if it's too big it wont always work well or if it's too small like a crease it also will not work.
If you won't be happy with it looking perfect like the rest of the car you might want to go to a body shop and have them fix it. They are much cheaper than the dealers. You just have to make sure you go to a good one.

My DS had a good size dent on his car and used an ordinary bathroom plunger. Got most of it out!

A plunger! Wow! I never would have thought of that. Same concept. I used the Ding King before on some pretty large creases and it certainly made it look better. It worked really well on a small dent, though.

:( :( :( :( :(
I tried the plunger It didn;t do a thing...there didn;t seem to be enough suction on the car to pull a small dent out at all...unfortunately.......:o

Well I went to Pep Boys and got for $3.59 a BIG suction cup made for this purpose and it worked GREAT....almost gone...a liitle area left I can;t get out nut 90% gone....YEA
BUT on the drive home my check engine light came on ---I called Honda and they said it means something with the emmissions...NOW WHAT???????? UGH:(

RE emissions light, Usually its nothing really serious. In Hondas it means the scheduled maintenence is also due. If its not around your sked maintence time, check your Airfilter and Gas Cap. If both of those are secure, there might be a problem and I would suggest you schedule a check up.

If you have the Accord, when you start it up, press the trip odometer down and hold it down for 5-10 seconds. This will turn the light off.

I just had 2500 worth of hail dents taken out of my car. If you live in the Dallas Area, PM me and I will get you the name of the guy who did the work for me. FANTASTIC JOB!!!

Problem with the dingking is that it can leave your car metal "wavey" unless you get the right size suction cup.
Good luck.

Thanks Nebsky.....It is a Honda CRV but I will try the odometer too....I have a feeling it is a scheduled maintance thing...it just hit 41,000 miles. Hopefully it is nothing - they are checking it tomorrow at 10:00 am....but if the odometer thing works I may cancel since it is running fine
