Simon From DISCON

For those of you who were at DISCON II, you may remember discussion about Simon in the UK. Well I ran into him today. (I am sure he thinks I am crazy!) However, Simon has had his contract extended until September 13. So if you get back before then look for him.

He did get it extended? the last time I spoke to him, he didn't know if they would extend it, I'm happy for him but that also means he has to go back home in Septmber and start college right away.

We had a great time meeting Simon during Dis con. We are not back til Oct so I guess we are going to miss him.

We don't get back until Dec...but we have seen Simon a number of times since DIS CON II...a wonderful LAD>..

Yes, he got extended. He was very pleased to get extended that long since some of the people in his group only got a one month extension.

By the way, he spoke specifically about Bad Shoe.com. The girl he was with seemed a little confused, but he said he would explain it to her!


On this trip I have adoped a new strategy kind of borrowed from Bad Shoe. I am giving away pins to kids that I find entertaining! It was loads of fun yesterday. We will see how today goes. I am posting my adventures on the Trip Report board.

Carol - Are you back at WDW again? Weren't you just there over Father's Day?

Thanks for the news about Simon. I realized when I got home that I didn't go into ANY shops in the world showcase when we were at WDW in June. I must have been too busy to shop.

John, yes I was just here. I am spoiled. By the way, I saw you shopping. You were scoping out the pins! Of course that was not at the World Showcase.

We will have to look him up when we go in just 15 DAYS! He is such a sweet young man.

Lisa, do you think there's any chance that he forgot us and Joe? ROFL. We were only standing under the tent for 1/2 hour waiting for him, LOL.

I guess you did catch me shopping Carol. I only spent around $250 on pins this trip, and most of those are for friends. I suppose if Simon worked at a pin cart, I would have bumped into him for sure.

Olga I was think of getting him a little gift for his car as a thank you for playing taxi. Which do you think a bike horn, so that he actually has one, or one of those hula girls for the dash.
