Does anyone have any experience of Silverjet? We are considering them for the return of our QM2 cruise to New York in August. I have searched high and low but can't find their baggage allowance...does anyone know?
Thanks

Actuall, according to their website (http://www.maxjet.com/homeAction.do), Maxjetc will start a non-stop service from Stansted to LA on August 30th.

Maxjet isn't competitive with other "business classes" seatwise (i.e. both BA and Virgin have seats that turn into flat beds), but the lounges/food/service does look great. AND you are looking at about only £775 (including taxes) for Stansted to LAX return: that is cheaper than PE or WT+ and the Maxjet product looks quite a lot better. If Stansted is convenient for you, definitely looks worth considering...
You could even look at flying into LAS and out of LAX or vice versa... (for £50 per person more than flying STN-LAX-STN). If you are looking at a holiday trip, then that could be fun (a few days in Las Vegas, a 5 hour drive through the dessert to LA, and a week or so in LA before flying home)...

That's exactly what we plan to do next summer.Maxjet isn't competitive with other "business classes" seatwise (i.e. both BA and Virgin have seats that turn into flat beds), but the lounges/food/service does look great.
