I'm a silver member and DVC... both can book on the same day - 3/24. Looks like they both have different methods to book. Is it better to book under one status (silver vs DVC) over the other? Thanks!!!

Since your a DVC member, you need to book through DVC. That way you can get info on points and pricing. They then will contact the cruise line and book it for you while you're on the phone with them.

Online tends to open before the phones (though I don't know if maybe DVC opens earlier than the normal DCL line to be honest as I am not a DVC member). I would probably hop online either before the line opens or while I was on hold and race to see which won.

Thanks! Sounds like DVC doesn't offer any benefits when booking a cruise so will pick the easiest method to book!

Unless you are applying an onboard booking discount or using some DVC points, the easiest way to book is to go online as soon after 6 am eastern time when your booking window opens and find your stateroom. That gets you ahead of the phone callers who will be trying to book starting at 8 am eastern.

Great! Thanks for the tip!
