Hi All
I have booked a cruise for next year with family members. We have three cabins booked. One of the cabins contains a family of 4 who have all never cruised before. The other two cabins are all silver status. The reservations are all linked but the booking window for excursions and meet & greets opens at different times for the different cabins.
Would it be possible to swap the people in the cabins around on the booking (but not physically) i.e. A child with silver status swaps with someone in the cabins of first time cruisers?
Would this mean all cabins have silver status and can book at the same time?
Hope this makes sense!
Thanks in advance for your help

Yes, if you change names on the reservation and have at least one person at Silver CC level in each room, then advance bookings will all open at the same time. That person has to remain on that booking but once you are onboard, you can get key to the actual cabin they will be sleeping in.

Yes, you can do that but keep in mind that whomever is switched to a different room will need to attend the muster drill for the room they are booked in. They will also be at that muster station in case of an actual emergency.

When you get onboard you can go to guest services to get a dummy key to the rooms they will be sleeping in but the Key to the World card that they receive to the room they are booked in is the one that they will need to use to get on and off the ship, make purchases etc.

Also, if it is a child you book into a different room, you will need to fill out consent forms to allow the child to get off the ship with his/her parents who are booked in another room.

Yes.

BUT the person will have to go to the Muster station of the cabin they are officially assigned to. NOT the cabin they decide to sleep in if those are different. (And even if they are the same, they will have to check in with their officially assigned cabin.)

Eta: got beaten because the subway service wasn't playing nice
