The silver spur steakhouse
The s.s.s. is situated in frontier land opposite the molly brown ship and is a western styled restaurant ,we took refuge there on a very cold march evening and it was very quiet ,we had a lovely table up on a raised area where you could see the open kitchen and watch your food being grilled on a wood fire grill
DH had a `kit Carson grilled chicken` which was served in a solid frying pan, cook pot style dish which came with fries, I had the vegetable lasagne if I remember was very vegetably!!but also perfect for the weather ,Ds`s has crumbled fish which If I remember was more like fish and chips and dd had the pasta in basil and tomato sauce ,all the kids meals were from the little sheriffs menu and were adequate for their tummies and they also got 1 drink each and a choice of pudding ,ds`s had the Disney ice cream which was actually a promotional tub with a chicken little toy at the bottom of a little tub of ice cream and dd had the puzzle pudding which was great, a white chocolate jigsaw with red, blue and yellow food colouring and a paint brush ,hence ds`s chose that pudding from thereon in!! As we were on quiet a tight budget that was all we had apart from adults drinks but I remember commenting how it was cheaper to eat there than in Annettes for lunch and the food was lovely ,the restaurant was very inviting but it was very quiet so I wonder how it would be on a busy day!
Sorry but thats all I can drag back from my memory but it must have made an impression on us as the whole family agree on it being the first place to go to eat on our next trip!
