I know most people use their magical wishes on meals, but we're trying to save a few back for t-shirts for the kids and such. Can anyone tell me, since there are 4 of us, and we get 2 per night for a total of 8 per night, what if we do not use all 8 in one night or can we use 10 in one day? Just wondering how the wishes work? Thanks!

You can use the wishes anyway you want.... if you have 20 wishes total, you can use 15 one night, 5 the next and none for the rest of your trip.

Each wish works out to between $33-40 each...depending on what you paid for your package.

We used ours for expensive dinners out - total bill for just 2 of us ranged between $120 to $240! (at Fulton's).

At $33 - that's a very expensive T-shirt.

have a great time,
LA

Just a warning - the T-shirts available on this plan are very limited. DH and I were on the Discover Magic (now the Silver Plan) in December. We did it mostly for the convenience of the package, not to save money. So, we thought that with a couple of extra wishes we would get T-shirts. Almost every place we went to ask about the T-shirts you could get with wishes (we tried HOB, Cirque, Planet Hollywood, and Bongos), only had one or two that were available with wishes. They were also generally the cheapest shirts in the place and not ones that interested us at all.

If you are looking for things to bring back for the kids. You can use your wishes on a landyard and 3 pins.
My son is a pin collector and this is going to be one of his wishes. It will work out great and a better use of your wishes then a T-shirt.

I agree with LAinSEA that using your wishes for T-Shirts makes for pretty expensive shirts! I know how you feel about trying to save money for T-Shirts and such, but you are just going to come out better using your wishes for expensive dinners. :smooth:

We did the silver plan in March. The things that we came out way ahead on in terms of dollars (other than 1 wish dinners at nice restaurants) were La Nouba and the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. They were both wonderful. I highly recommend doing these.

hi, does anyone know if the wishes can be carried over to another visit if all are not used during your stay with the package? thanks

Hi Karenrc..

Can you tell me a little bit about the "Keys to the Kingdom Tour"

Where and when it leaves, how long it is and what kinds of things you see on it?

Thanx!

The link Scottwdw posted gives a good overview of the tour. It leaves from City Hall in the Magic Kingdom a couple of times each morning. We went on the 8:30 tour. There were about 8 guests on the tour. The idea is to understand more about what makes the magic in the Magic Kingdom. We started on Main Street and our wonderful tour guide would talk for a while and point things out then move us farther along.

From there we walked through the park until we got to the gate to the backstage area near Splash Mountain. We learned a lot about the parades back there. Next we rode three rides: Pirates of the Carribean, Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion. At each she explained some background information and then we rode, entering without much of a wait. We learned about hidden Mickeys and other design features. On Jungle Cruise, we were on our own boat and she gave part of the normal cruise but also told us lots of other stuff. We got to go in a back door to the Haunted Mansion and were by ourselves in the stretch room. The CM there was great - gave me a good special scare!

After a wonderful lunch at Columbia Harbor House (you order when you check in) we went backstage again. This time we went back through a Main Street store and ended up in the Utilidoors. What a treat to see that!

You have to be 16 to go on the tour. My 14 year old was NOT happy. I went with my almost 18 year old son who will be majoring in Sports and Entertainment Marketing at college next year. He really enoyed it too. You also can't take any cameras along - too bad! It was a lot of wlaking and standing but very enjoyable. The size of the group made it easy to ask questions and learn lots of interesting information. I never considered going on a tour but when I decided to do the Silver Plan it seemed like a good use of a wish. I'm really glad we did it.
