Silver Passports/Aquatica

The passports were not due for renewal. We have been on month to month for a few years now. When we bought them, after 2 years you could continue at the same rate or cancel them. I continued to have the money taken out of my account every month. We do not live near any other of their parks. I was told when we were there earlier this year that Aquatica would be included so I kept paying for them so I could go there in March (that is the only time I will be in Orlando next year). Now they are saying that they are not included so I cancelled them altogether. The discounts for Discovery Cove have not been as good as in the past either so it was not worth the money to me anymore.

I see, well only you know if they are worth it for you but I agree with the DC discounts, 1st time we went we got $100 each discount, last time we got $30. Like I have said we have the gold passes, 2 years for Busch and SW. They work out at $65 incl tax /year for each park to add Aquatica it will add about $20/year. $150/year for 3 parks is great value for us, we are there on vacation upto 60 days a year. Also get the Universal AP's for $99/year. Disney are the expensive ones but we still pay it:)

I don't quite understand,my passes are basically the same as yours we've had the Platinum passes since 2003 and before that we had silver passes. We pay them on the EZ PAY program and from what I've heard Aquatica is included. Are you saying if I want to go to Aquatica I have to upgrade my Platinum Passports to include Aquatica,I always thought a Platinum Pass is a Platinum Pass and Aquatica would be included.

That is the same kind of pass that I had. When I called them on Thursday, the lady said that those Platinum passes only include the 8 parks already in existence, if I want to include Aquatica I must upgrade to the new Platinum passes for more money. Let me know what they tell you when you call. Hope it works out for you better.

You're right I e-mailed them yesterday and today I get a response that I would have to cancel my passes and renew them at $16.24/month to include Aquatica.I don't like it one bit,I thought a Platinum is a Platinum. We have 3 Platinum passes in our house, only 2 of us will probably upgrade it to include Aquatica,so it's like an extra $8/month.We're closer than you guys and I do love waterparks so at least for me it would be worth it.One thing that does leave me thinking is that the Disney waterpark annual pass is like $100, so for the two of us that plan to upgrade the pass to include Aquatica it would be $96 more a year, but with the Disney pass I get 2 waterparks, double the price but it's 2,it's just something I'll think about,I'll probably just upgrade the Platinum, but I better like Aquatica!!
