Silver pass question!!

Hey all!

We have a silver pass and my sister and her family are planning a trip to wdw. Are we able to get her a discounted room even though we won't be there? My husband says that when he calls he's told different things depending on who answers the phone...

By rule, the pass holder must be one of the people staying in the room.

No, the discounts are only for the pass holder. There are no discounts for other family members.
