Silver Lake or Vistana - SkyAuction Choices

Which would you choose and why? I want to bid on a week through SkyAuction. I've never stayed at either of these resorts. Any info on either would be greatly appreciated. I'm honestly not terribly concerned about the resort amenities. I care more about the location, ease of getting to and from Disney from there, and the actual rooms - clean, modern, well-equipped, etc.

Assume price would be about the same and tell me which you would pick.

I've been told that Silver Lake is really nice...

We have stayed at the Vistana. It was really great. We were in an older section, the condo was very large, clean and quiet. The pools were wonderful as well, I think we went to 3 or 4 different pools and they were all clean and well kept. Also, at night we could watch the Disney fireworks from the pool. The restaurants were good too. We went to Downtown Disney and it was very easy to get to from Vistana. There are also several restaurants right outside of the gates, Bennigan's and Landry's Seafood are two we went to, and were both good. If I were to buy a timeshare, it would definitely be here. It's a beautiful resort. Have never stayed at the other.

MY sister just stayed at Silver lake and they loved it. Short drive to Disney on the back roads by Animal Kingdom. You can see the tree of life from the resort. We were at OLCC but I toured their condo also. The resort is more compact which was nice, very clean, and the only down side I can think of was the tiled floors with little kids and all the mirrors(which my sister loved) I wouldn't hesitate to stay there.
