silver and gold...

ok so here is the problem
i love my engagment band ad ring but they are gold with diamonds but..... i wanted silver and diamond earings and bracelet for the weding
i know i can do what i want but everyone says i will look tacky if so where do i find nice gold drop earings all the ones i see are silver and diamonds ???

I'm doing the same thing. My wedding band (I'm not wearing an engagement ring) is gold, but my jewerly is silver. I am wearing the Swarovski Cinderella coach bracelet, and it is silver in color. I am seeing that it is becoming more 'in style' to mix metals now than it used to be.

I wear mixed jewelry all the time. My engagement ring is platinum and my wedding band (my grandmothers ring) is gold.

It's actually ok to wear a metal of a different color than your wedding set. Mine will actually be a white metal, but my colors for the wedding will be gold. So, I'll have to mix metals, but what I'm doing is actually taking the Plat Solitaire Pend and putting a gold enhancer on it so it'll be TwoToned! That way all metals will work, and TwoTone is VERY popular! (I work in a Jewelry Store) Hope that helps!

You can definitely mix it up.. I have a movado watch that is silver and gold and I wear gold jewelry with it and /or silver... and it looks good..

I agree, i have a gold wedding band and engagement ring but i also have white gold rings that i wear all the time!

All my pieces of jewelry are different metals/stones, and I still get compliments all the time on my jewelry.

Also, Please remember it DOES NOT MATTER what other people think. Do YOU think it looks tacky? If so, then you'll want to find a jewelry set that matches. If you like the way it looks and/or dont' care. It's YOUR wedding, YOU'RE the princess!

I actually got it off of ebay. They usually have one or two on there. Just do a search for swarovski cinderella bracelet. It is absolutely beautiful!

I think it's okay to mix metal colors! Do what makes you happy!
Here is my ring next to my bracelet that was bronze "pussywillow branches" with pearls, and I had a matching necklace.
