I've been so good this summer. Watching what I am eating ....exercising every day...lifting weights...etc. Recently I've been so tired, nearly having to force myself to work out. I noticed that I haven't been drinking as much water as normal. COuld this make me feel this way? Does water have this impact?
Just curious.

Suzy, no question is to silly here.

My thoughts on this are two fold, there have been many a discussion on water intake here in WISH, and many have their opinions on the amount needed. Things you may want to check on. Get your eight glasses a day, there is nothing wrong with that approach, however you may want to check with you doctor and see if maybe you need a daily vitamin, to help maintain the vitamin intake due to your diet change. As you see success your metabolism and stamina should increase. Just my thoughts.

I would take jtbdas' advice and see your doctor.

I'm not saying it's not possible, but I don't think that your water intake level would affect your body in the specific way you mention.

If you're feeling fatigued, I would put it more on a lack of nutrition and/or vitamins. Since you've been following an exercise regimen, have you altered your diet to include that? If you're doing exercise, your body is using more calories than if you just did the basic exercises....things like walking, cleaning.....the stuff we do every day that burns calories, and you need to give it more calories. Be sure that you're not UNDER-eating, and that you've got lots fo fruits and vegetables for vitamins and minerals. :)

I humbly beg to differ on this matter.....

dehydration could very well be what you are suffering from (of course I'm not a doctor), dehydration can manifest itself in many forms, some of the more common symptoms are:

headache
fatique
chills
