Silly tortie/calico kitty behavior

I just wanted to add; please excuse the ugly mess in the middle picture. we were in the process of taking out our carpet and installing tile. the finished floor is in the frist picture!

You all should count your lucky stars you have great friendly loving calicos because I have the spawn of satin living in my house. We don't know where our loving cute little calico kitten went. She's just pure evil I tell ya. She likes no one unless her food bowl is empty or her cat box needs cleaning. The only time she ever purrs is when she is in our room waking us up at 5am and for what we don't know. My dh can bend down to pet her and she'll hiss at him with such hatred. If we pick her up she will start growling at us and then if we don't put her down she'll growl and hiss at us. She chases my other cat around the house biting his back legs. If we open the door and theres a cat outside she'll start hissing at them too.

Any the funniest part of her is that when it comes to my kids she is nuteral with them. She will sleep with, play with them, bug the crap outta of them one minute and then go psycho on them the next.
Her name is chloe.

This is my fattymcfatfat aka tiger!! he's my very laid back don't bother while I'm sleeping cat. Ok he only likes me. When dh is working midnights tiger will sleep with me and in dh's spot but when dh is home tiger won't even step foot in our room. He's my baby and he knows it.

Charity (the 1st cat I posted about) did the same thing to me your Chloe did to you. Sweet as could be when she was younger and now if I even walk by her she growls at me. She likes my mom, but that's it.

Chloe also loves those clear wrappers too. She'll here me tear off the plasic seal off of a bottle and come running looking for. She'll carry them around the house for hours. Our cats have to be related somehow!! We had her fixed and my kids like to tell me we forgot her love at the vets office!! but the sad fact is she lost her love way before she was fixed. Actually we were kind of excited the first time and only time she came into heat because she would actually let us pet her and she was purring!! LOL

That is so funny that you say that. Kycha's mom(Kori) was a tortie like she is. We got her from my co worker who insisted that she was fixed. Well, it didn't take long till we realized she was not, in fact, fixed. She got out and got pregnant. Kori liked my DH and that's it. She wouldn't swat or growl at me or anything like that. She just didn't want anything to do with me.

So, I should have known something was up when one day, she jumps into my lap and starts purring and letting me pet her. I was so shocked by this that it took me a good 15 minutes to realize that she was in labor and giving birth right on my lap. Fortunately, I had a blanket on my lap. So, I waited till the first kitten was born(Kycha) and then moved her to a better spot.

After that, Kori was a little more affectionate towards me. Not much. But at least she stopped ignoring me.

Tinkerbell is adorable!! She looks like she belongs on the beach in the Bahamas!

My Calico/Tortie is named Sophie Tucker and she just stuck her claws in my leg, turned and walked out of the room yelling at me. Food bowl must be empty, lol!!!
