Well, now the DH and i are going over our ticket options for our 7 night/ 8 day trip in only 8.5 weeks :earseek: and it has brought up some interesting questions i am sure you folks will be able to help us out on.......

- is the extra cash (only about $150 to $200 for the three of us) worth the differnce between Ultimate park hopper (LOS) passes and 7 day PH+? We will be arriving very early on our first day and leaving very late on our last, so we will have a full 8 days to "do stuff". We definately want to do a waterpark for a full day, and DH wants to go to the World of Sports. (although i have heard it is a real snoozer, especially since i hate sports! But hey, it's his vacation too right?!?!?;) )

We have considered AP's because the price differnce isn't that high for those either, but there are a few things holding us back there....
- we are not sure if we would be able to get back to WDW again in a calander year
- the AP's do not include water parks or the WOS (which i mentioned are musts for us this trip)
- the PAP's do include the stuff above, but the difference in cost is high, and again, there is the good chance that we might not be able to get back in a year to use them

OK - more questions....

AP's and PAP's are issued to indivuals only, and not transferable - (some sort of ID is needed linking the user to the Pass)
- Are PH's the same way?
- are LOS passes good for the day you check out or do they expire on your last night spend at the resort?
- since we are camping and therefor have no room key card, do we get issued paper passes for the PH's and/or LOS passes?

WOW - i should lay off the dr. pepper! look at the lenght of this post!!!
well, i hope someone out there can give me a little direction - while waiting i think i will run around the building a few times and work off this caffine buzz!:bounce:

Well, I can answer one question for you. You will get a Key-to-the-Kingdom resort card. You won't have to open any doors with it - but it looks the same! :D

What we did, was look at the individual prices of the added features. The price of the water parks are typhoon lagoon 29.63 adult 23.85 kid, blizzard beach same as prior and river country 16.91 adult and 13.25 kid.... wide world of sports is 9 for adults and 7 for kids. Now consider that you are going to spend an entire day at the water park, so subtract one day from park hopper pass price then figure difference. (because you would only buy the park hopper pass for the amount of days spent in theme parks)

ex. for us 5 day park hopper pass is 218.36 plus one day at water park 29.63 = 247.99 plus 9 for wide world of sports = 256.99 or six day park hopper plus 285.16 (for one adult)

We decided on River Country is better for our family anyways and saved even more....
Of course we didn't figure any downtown disney activities into the calculation, because it didn't apply to our group

Hope this helps

Okay, I'll try to answer as many questions as I can.

Probably not. Depends how many plus options you think you'll use. If you want to go to the parks and and PI more than your number of pluses, then go for the LOS. I'm not positive that WOS is included as a plus option, but I guess you looked into that already.

You can't transfer any tickets to any other people. LOS passes expire midnight of the day you checkout. And like Rhonda said, you can get LOS or PH tickets put on plastic cards.

Thanks for asking, I had the same ?s. This will be our 1st trip to WDW so things are still a bit new. I had the same question about the LOS on your last day -- so thanks for all the answers!!! :pinkbounc
