Orange Stinger retheme to Silly Symphony Swings

Project Status: In progress. Attraction began 'dismantling' July 14, 2009 with the decorative orange peel removal beginning the week of July 20, according to Around Disney. Scaffolding went up for new queue construction the third week of October.
Open Date: Previously expected to open April 29, 2010, the project has been delayed to May 29, 2010.

• Young children should be accompanied by an adult.
• Guests between 40" and 48" must ride in a tandem swing with a responsible person. Guests who do not meet the height requirement may not ride.

YAY THIS WEEK!!! May 29th or so they say. The day I get there. Gotta try that out for sure! Cross fingers for no delay!

i saw them friday night with the lights on and they were testing it (silly sym. strings)..it looks soo fun! i cannot wait!

this ride gets totally bashed by the purist fan boys, but I love it. Just plain FUN.

We were there yesterday and we saw they were testing it. We were on Maliboomer and DD10 excitedly said "Look, it's going!" I saw 2 men riding it.

We went over there and there were doing paint touch ups, etc. We spoke to one of the men standing around and he said it was opening in a few days. (Maybe Friday?). We told him we saw a few guys on it-was he one? No, he said they wouldn't let him ride. They were Imagineers and Audio workers testing the system. We kind of hung out for awhile (waiting for GZ to re-open) and we heard them testing the sound system. Later in the day, after 6 when DCA closed, we saw the swings going again. Looks like it'll be any day now.

I loved the Orange Stinger and am sure I will love the Symphony Swings, too.

I can't wait to try them out myself.
