Common sense tells me to use sunscreen when we are out in the sun.

Will we need it in November? I've never been down to FL at that time of year and just wondering how much of it to pack. I'm hoping it will be hot enough to swim in the first week of November.

Thanks for your advice.

it'll be warm enough to swim, no problem. even though the humidity will have broken by then, you can still get a burn if you stay out in it.

We rode water slides in January a couple of years ago in Orlando. I don't think that area ever has a time of year when there is no chance for sunburns or water fun.

Living with melanoma, here is a rule of thumb. If the sun is out, use sunscreen. I'm 29, and have to worry about every little bump and mole that pops up. They say that if you have been sunburned more than five times in your life where your skin peels, you are 75 % likely to get skin cancer......so moral of the story, whether you are worried about burning or not..trust me on the sunscreen.
