Silly question regarding Contempory

I know that in the Magic Kingdom, there is no alcohol but you can have it in your hotel room at the contempory right? After the kids are asleep, we want to have some wine to unwind on the balcony.

Of course. There are BARS in the monorail hotels, just not in the MK.

If I remember correctly- there is a bar called the OuterRim right next to Chef Mickey's and they had a store which sold beer, wine, etc. in the concourse.

A cocktail on the balcony is a great way to end a long day at the parks. Enjoy!

You can also bring your own beer/drinks with you to the resort to save some money.

I love a glass of wine at the end of the day. My husband likes his tea. Last year, after a full day at the parks, he would fill his refillable mug with tea and I would open up my wine.

I brought those little four packs of wine from home. Each night I would have one little bottle. I put them in a plastic bag, wrapped a shirt around them and put them in my checked luggage. Not one of them broke. It was perfect. And a lot cheaper than buying a bottle at the Contemporary.

At the Contemporary Resort, there is another bar that's located in the Marina building that's located near Bay Lake.

This was a good question to post. I too was wondering about wine or drinks around the resort, namely the Poly. Can you order a glass of wine from the bar and/or bring a bottle of wine from your room and sit on the beach and have a glass? Just curious (since we're on the subject), if anyone has done this.

Of course! Concourse Spirits has the best liquor selection of a WDW hotel. One of the reasons we always insist on a balcony is so we can enjoy a glass of wine and smoke at the end of the day

We just got back from the Contemporary on sunday night, we took a bottle of wine and rum. Enjoyed them both in our room, no problem. We also had drinks at the pool (from the Sand Bar).
