Silly Question - Ordering Pizza at Disney Resort from outside pizza place

Hello All,

We are doing a quick trip over the Labor Day weekend and going to the Mickeys not so scary Halloween party. But since it is a quick 4 day trip, we are not doing the meal plan, nor are we going to have a car.

We are staying at Port Orleans - Riverside. There are 5 of us, Me, wife, and three daughters.

I was thinking one night, we might just call and order Pizza. I am not a fan of the Disney pizza, not the cost, but the taste. So are there rules for ordering outside of Disney property? Do I have to meet at the front desk, or can they bring it to our room?

And if it is allowed, anyone have a place that they like to use when they are down at Disney?

Yes. Many hotels will even tell you never give your CC info to any of these that come under door or you pick up.

Same with left on your car.

Definitely a thing. I have received more of them at the deluxe resorts than values and mods, but the exterior doors are probably more difficult to push something under than the interior hallway doors.

Ordered Flippers in 2017 from POR....for a large supreme and two 16oz bottles of soda....$43....I about fell over! But yes...they do meet u in the lobby...Don't forget to take ur credit card with u IF u are paying with it...cause they will verify it and make u sign the receipt!

From personal experience: Many years ago we were staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and wanted Giordano's pizza delivered. The restaurant told us that they were forbidden from delivering into the lobby and that we had to meet the driver outside the front door. It wasn't a problem and the whole transaction was cash, it just took a while (their pizza takes a while to make).

I suspect that this has not changed unless someone has a more recent experience.

Flippers is great and will deliver directly to your room...very quickly I might add. We use them every trip!

We love Blaze and it is just the right amount of food. I love to make it how I want it not how they want it.
