Silly Question about Souvenirs

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon to DW next May. We are trying to budget for EVERYTHING. We have a 5 year old son, who unfortunately will not be joining us (Honeymoon and all). We also have 3 nieces and 3 nephews we want to bring things back for. Does anyone know how much Mickey mouse ears run? And are there any other little kid appropriate souvenirs we can bring back for the kids, We also want to look for some adult souvenirs for our parents and the sitter, that would be nice too. I don't need a price list of everything, but what kinds of souvenirs are available, and how much do they tend to run? Sorry I can't be more specific, I have NO CLUE, what would possibly be available.

** Also, can you buy bride and groom ears at the souvenir shops, or do they need to be special ordered?**

For the kids, besides the mouse ears, there will be some awesome T-shirts at the park. There should be a large enough selection that you can get something different for each child.

For tha adults, I have always loved buying presents in EPCOT. With all of the different countries, I can usually find something for everyone.

Another place for some interesting souvenirs is in AK. There is a shop near the entrance to the safari that has some things from Africa. (At least it was that last time that I was there.)

Unfortunately, it has been 6 years since my last trip so I can't help you out on prices.

I'm sure the experts will correct me if I'm wrong... but I think the ears are $8 and you can get names free at the Chappeau in MK.

Last year when we went to Disney, I got mouse ears at MGM from one of the outside carts. I was told I could take it to a shop inside of MGM and have my name monogrammed. I think it was $6.00 to have my name put on.

You might also try Mouse Gears at Epcot. Last year, my mom and I found windbreakers for $25 (I think that's what they were). I think they were on sale.

Go to DTD and check out the housewares in the World of Disney store. My aunt once brought me back a mickey head can and bottle opener. It wasn't really expensive and I just tossed it in my tool drawer...but I use it a lot! There are lots of items like this.

Also, when in doubt....bring candy! Pretzel shaped pretzels...salt water taffy...etc. No one is disappointed with candy...it is always appreciated and eay to share!

There are lots of different souveneirs in all price ranges. You can buy a $60.00 sweatshirt or a $4.00 magnet - really, you can find something in any price range. I agree with the suggestion to check out the mega Disney store in Downtown Disney. I'm not sure about the bride and groom ears ... I swear I saw them in a regular shop though. Have fun!

I think there is a LARGE variety of things. There is everything from toys to piggy banks to clothes to movies to candy to whatever.

Well, since I've never been there, I can't tell you prices or certain things, but I know they have a wonderful but pricy selection of things for adults and kids.
For kids, if you want to get them something to wear, get T-shirts. You can, I think, have certain ones customized, but I'm not for sure. I know you can get really, really cute shirts, though, and mouse ears at a cost I have no clue of. :-(
For adults, I have no idea what to get.

There is a Under $10 store in DTD. They carry some cool stuff in there.

Pins are a big thing in WDW, they start around $6.95. Shirts I believe start around $19.95. In the MK you can get ears starting around $6.99 (somewhere around that price) and can get them monogrammed at a store in the park for $2.00. They have the bride & groom ears there too.

You can get just about anything covering all price ranges. We usually scope things out throughout our trip and then do the buying in the last day or two, just incase we find something we like even more than the 17 things we picked out on day 1. Of course you'll want to buy those bride and groom ears on day one so you can wear them over the whole honeymoon! I have seen the bride and groom ears in different shops, but I'm sure your best bet, to avaid hunting all over is to go to the Chapeau in the MK. Go into the entrance on the right hand side and it is straight ahead (ok maybe straight ahead and then a few steps to the right)
