We will be staying at AKV in a standard studio. Does anyone know what size milk container will fit in the fridge? We will be bringing down milk for cereal and stuff and just wondering what size container it can hold up to.
Thanks

If you remove the lowest shelf, you can put a full gallon in the fridge. A quart bottle should fit nicely on the door shelves. Milk is one item that is not generally too overpriced at the resort stores (it is high, but not gouging).

A half gallon, with a tight fitting screw on lid can be laid down in a shelf.

Thanks sooo much :)

I actually bring milk down with me. I put it in a couple of used Snapple bottles, and lay them down on the shelf. They'd fit on the door, but I'm afraid the door will not be cold enough.

Thanks so much for asking this question- I just booked a BLT studio for this August and started thinking about how strategic I will need to be with my grocery order and follow up purchases at the resort store. Thanks again!

weve always ordered one or 2 quarts(4lts to me) to be delivered via garden grocer and havent had any issues getting them in the fridges at wl(not villas), bay lake or ssr. we do breaky in our room and thats the big thing our kids drink as well. the last trip i got a quart and a half quart, put the quart lying down on the bottom(i think)and the 1/2 standing or on the door. no issues with anything spoling and still room for our pop and water.

Thank you everyone. This will make shopping easier for me :) Course hubby wants to know how much beer will fit now :)

Lots, once you take the milk out...:rotfl2::rotfl2: Sorry. couldn't resist.

Seriously, we stay most of our stays in a studio, and it is amazing how much we can pack in those fridges.

Not trying to take over this thread but I think another logical question is how big or really how small is the "freezer" part of these studios fridges? TIA

Thanks- that helps a lot because my DD has food allergies and really likes to have frozen waffles for breakfast. It will be good to know that I can order the brand that she can eat from Garden Grocer and then check out what brand is sold at the store when we get there. Thanks again!

np! i never even thought about size when i ordered, just saw them on the site and went omg dd will love them. costco got them in once here and never again. and since we live in canada, no one else carries them of course. i told her it's a long time till she gets them again! lol we used to get the eggo ones at home and then they stopped making them, altho i see theyre making them down there again.
