Silly first-timer questions...

This is our familys 1st visit also. I cant wait. We have purchased airline tickets, and reservations at POP. I see you guys talking about a free dinning plan. What exactly is that if I may ask. We leave on June 9th and have made no reservations for Dinning ...I hope we havent messed up our suppers... :confused3
Can someone help me with this also.....?

Do you have to check your luggage through, if you catch the Magical Express? Can you just take it on yourself?

Or if not... is there another way of getting to Disney at midnight, apart from the Magical Express?
!!
Normally you can manage your luggage all the way if you wish. Just do not put the yellow Magical Express tags on. Except for arrivals after 10 PM when you should report promptly to the to the Magical Express check in area. Both buses and baggage handlers are fewer in number at that hour and it is up to the Magical Express host whether you should get your luggage yourself.

Taxis are available all the time and some towncar services will make reservations for midnight. But you should be pleased with Magical Express.

Yayyyyyyyyyy! :cheer2:

Just writing to say thankyou SO much to all those people who persuaded me to call Disney and ask if we qualify for free dining - because we do!!!

    --- That's me right now.

I'm so excited that I found this fabulous message board! You guys saved us SO much money! And now we'll be eating out every night in fun restaurants, instead of eating hot dogs at the Pop food court! (Not that there's anything wrong with the hot dogs at Pop, I'm sure.....)

Now I'll just have to decide which restaurants to choose! I'm hoping to book on the weekend. Do you think I can decide on 7 restaurants in a day? Hehee.

Anybody's favourite restaurant suggestions gladly taken! :Pinkbounc

I'm off to check out the dining threads!

Thanks again guys!!

:cool1: That's great news! Thanks for letting us know.

Call soon so you get all the restaurants and times you want. Free dining period is popular.

Good luck picking your restaurants!

You have to book through Disney no later than June 4, 2006. No you don't have to pay for the ADR's just need to provide them with your reservation number, so have fun planning. How cool that you will pick up free dinning without really planning on it! I really liked the dinning plan and we saved some big bucks because we had lots of good sit down meals, I would definately re-book with free dinning and enjoy all the good Dinsey Food.

Congratulations!I am so glad you called back.I will offer a few suggestions you may want to consider for your full-service choices. You may want to pick one or two restaurants in World Showcase. They are all amazing and are themed for their country. You may also want to consider one or two restaurants in the resorts. There are some GREAT restaurants in the resorts and it will also give you a chance to see some of the AMAZING WDW resorts when you go for your meal. The California Grill at The Contemporary would be a great choice because of the great food and AMAZING view of Magic Kingdom, but I think it is one of the restaurants that requires two full-service credits.Have fun planning!Oh yeah, don't forget you can still enjoy hot dogs at POP because you also get the 7 counter-service meals plus 7 snacks! :)
