We are considering doing the dolphin swim on our honeymoon. Despite the fact that we can't really afford $200/person I just adore dolphins and truly think it would be a once in a lifetime experience and what better time to do it than on our honeymoon, right?!
In your opinion, was it worth the money?
If we do the dolphin swim, how do we book it? How far ahead of time should we book (traveling in JULY)? Do we get free admission to seaworld? Is discovery cove actually in seaworld then?
Thanks so much!

DC's a tough one for me. understand the amount of interaction you have is limited, for the animal's sake. your group has about 25 minutes with your dolphin, and every single second you're one on one with it is incredible. but I wish it was longer. you'll get a 7 day pass to SW as part of your package. DC and SW are different parks, right across the street from each other. you can feed and interact with dolphin at SW as well, but you're not in the water with them. I think DC is worth a first visit, especially on a honeymoon. but the price kills the 'reride factor'.

oh yeah, if you're going in July, look to book quickly, it sells out in advance.

I highly recommend this trip. It is expensive, but I thought very worth it. As the last poster said, they sell out quickly and only allow 1000 people in each day. (That's one of the reasons its so nice). I made m,y reservations over the phone about three months in advance and that was enough, but that was 3 years ago. Better give a call asap and ask when you can make your reservation. BTW, they also give you lunch in your cost of admission, and its a good one!

You can book it online also. Go to www.discoverycove.com and sign up like you are booking a reservation. Don't worry, you can back out at the last minute, but there is a calendar that shows what days are sold out. You can come back at any time and check the calendar.
I saw your other message asking about off site hotels. I also have my DC trip report from a few years ago you can view. It's worth it, plus you get 7 days at SWF.

If you decide to do DC, then you might want to pick one of the hotels across from SWF I talk about in this page.
