Silly age range question

Hi! Just got our reservations for June and I'm so excited.

While browsing through the various park pass options I noted that the children's pass is for ages 3-10. What about a child who is 2? Free admission (hard to believe)? What about the fact that she turns 3 the week AFTER our trip :) I tried to find this info in FAQs etc and just couldn't find it!

Thanks in advance!

AFAIK kids under the age of three get in free. I have never heard otherwise. Good timing on your trip though. It will save you a couple hundred $$$ by not having to her a ticket.

Totally great timing and completely unintentional! Should I bring a birth certificate or something :) She is tall for her age! LOL

You should be fine without a birth certificate, but it might not hurt to have it just in case. Also, most insurance cards have DOB on them. That would work as well.

BTW, the children's passes are for 3-9. When they turn 10, you have to buy an adult pass like I did last Sept. for my oldest son.

We went last June and my DS turned 3 in August. Definitely great timing! Remember, under 3 eat free at the buffets too. As far as proof of age, noone even gave him a second look, but if you're worried it couldn't hurt to bring something. The insurance card is a great idea.

I'm trying to convince DH that we should take another trip before our youngest turns 3 next May! :D

The age range for children is 3-9. Under 3 is free. I have never seen a cast memeber ask a child's age when entering the park. In fact I even took my 3½ year old as an under 3 to save money. I just wheeled the stroller thru the gate and was never questioned. :earsgirl:

Another perk that is rarely mentioned...

At character and sit down meals, your under three child is FREE! Yep, it's gonna hurt this trip--first one since my younger son turned three. The last three trips have been awesome, because he can eat!

There are many posts are there right now about this very subject. You should read some of them to find out what people think about the dishonesty of some park visitors.

I believe that children under 3 are free if you are dining at a buffet. If they order off of the menu, then you are charged for the meal you ordered for them.
