Silk or real floral?

I just don't know anymore. Real floral will probably cost me over $1,000 for what I want. I can probably spend $300 on silk flowers and make my own floral arrangement. What to do!

I just don't want my silk floral to look fake. You know?

I think its a personal choice.

You should look at some of the local vendors and see what they have to offer. I was recently at a wedding show here in Dublin and there was a supplier at it. Normally I wouldn't consider silk flowers but I have a bridesmaid who isn't too fond of real flowers so I went to have a look at their display. I was told they could do whatever flower I wanted in whatever shade I wanted and I have to admit their flowers did look nice - but I won't be telling my bridesmaid that

Needless to say, its your day and you should go with whatever suits you and that includes suiting your finances! Maybe you shouldn't rule out using real flowers for some of your wedding such as your flowers and then silk to cut down on costs for some of the larger items such as along the aisle and the reception venue? Like I said its a personal choice.

I had the same debate and decided to go with Silk - since we are getting at WDW and the weather can be very warm I figured it was easier than having them wilt. I found a supplier thru EBAY and they look very realistic.

We are doing silk, we had a family member make them and she got the flowers from Michaels... they look awesome!!

Wow! Those are gorgeous! Anyone ever hear of "real touch" silk flowers. Apparently they're silk flowers but more like real flowers. They look and feel real. They're about 2x more expensive than your normal silk flowers. I think I might go with that option...
