Silhouette Artists Returning?

We’re in Disneyland this week and have been disappointed the silhouette artists are out. There is a sign stating they are traveling abroad for a showcase. Does anyone know when they might be returning? Have they been gone for awhile?

I thought that sign was just put there for fun, to stick with old-timey theming or something. It was in the window when I was there in September. The sign was still there a few weeks ago, but a shade was pulled down so I could barely see it. But it was still there. I have also been disappointed that this service isn't back yet.

Ha, duh, you must be right about the sign. It’s probably Covid related. Perhaps about being indoors while the current mask mandate is in place? A silhouette with a mask isn’t much fun. I’m sure they could find a way to do it, but maybe they’re just waiting until masks are no longer required.

The place on Main St is VERY small, si I am sure they are waiting on things to improve.

I had thought we were discussing the ones that cut silhouettes on Main St by Clothiers.

I hope they return, but how are they going to cut your silhouette if they can't see beyond your mandatory mask indoors?

No, I mixed up the ones we've done at DLR and the ones we've done at WDW. The DLR ones were indoors and the ones at WDW were at a small cart on Main Street. Sorry to confuse things!
