So I'm here in San Diego on business, and I just had dinner outside on the harbor at Seaport Village.

Every time one of the military helicopters from Coronodo would fly by, I couldn't help but think, "Wish I was on Soarin' right now"! :yay:

That's one of my favorite parts, you can feel the power of those huge helipcopters just like it's real!

And of course everytime they show that scene, I lean over to DH and say, "Oh look, I see Seaport Village"! :rotfl2: He hates Seaport Village and I love it, so that always gets a laugh from him!

Thankfully I'm just a little over a month away from my Soarin' fix! Can't wait!

Why not head over to the Torrey Pines Glider Port and go soarin' for real. You will have beautiful views of the ocean, Torrey Pines Golf Course and the homes on the cliffs of La Jolla.

I love Seaport Village and Soarin. Golden Dreams always made me cry, I'm gonna miss it. I'd don't get why the CA has not been as successful as Disney hoped, I could spend all day there. Except when I have to go back to DL of course.

You know your addicted to soarin' when you walk behind someone and their perfume smells like one of the scents on the ride. I followed some lady down the hall at church just because she smelled like orange groves.:rotfl:

You know, that looks like it would be awesome, but I must admit, I'm too much of a chicken to try it!! :rotfl2:

Another reason why I love Soarin', I can get the feeling of flying while safley strapped in with a seatbelt!! I'm a weinie!! :lmao:

After I went on the ride, I was so captivated that I took up the sport. I have been out 12 times now and expect to go another 2 before the temps start to drop here in the Northwest. It is an unbelievable rush.

I LOVE soarin' beyond all reason! I am so afraid of heights normally (like, I won't even go on escalators and my legs shake when I have to climb tall staircases--forget looking down from a high place!), but I feel like Soarin gives me a safe way to enjoy high places and not be afraid. It feels like flying and always makes me smile.
