Signing up for Jedi Training Academy w/ breakfast at H&V

So if you do a pre opening breakfast at H&V, say 8am, can you leave at like 8:55am to go sign up for Jedi Training Academy then run back to finish up breakfast?

You should plan on heading to sign-ups at 8:40/8:45 and yes, you can return to finish your breakfast as long as a member of your party remains in H&V.

You could, but I bet you'd be nearly (or fully) complete with breakfast and even if you signed up quickly, your party would be waiting on you back at the restaurant. I think you'd be best off trying to get and settle your check mid way through the meal and be prepared for the Jedi folks to just leave while the rest of your party finishes at their leisure.

ETA: I've eaten at H&V and done jedi sign-ups, but not the early ADR straight to Jedi, so if others have a more direct experience, go with that!

My experience with an early H&V ADR (8:10 last year) was that we were done and at the rope by 8:40 and that was seeing all characters & not feeling rushed. Check in as early as you can, I was in the check-in line at the gate at about 7:50. You will get seated nearly immediately and you will be in the first wave of character rounds that they will be making when the restaurant is only partially filled as the rest of the 8:15ish people start to come in. We had all 4 characters within about 10 minutes. We paid our bill as soon as we had our drinks ordered, so after that was done we could relax and enjoy the food.

We did it Sunday with an 8 AM reservation. By 8:40 or 45 I saw people coming in the park and left for the inner rope. A very nice manager noticed and stopped the last character we hadn't seen yet before he went to dance so my DS and DH could get a photo and then run to meet me to sign up. So it was very tight. But we got the first show, which we really wanted as rain was predicted later in the morning.

We did show up early for our ADR and were promptly seated. There just was a lot of interruption of visits for singing and parading. Two characters started on our side and two on the opposite. I did tell our server JT was our main priority of the day.
