Received my tickets today from Ticketmania . . .there is a place for a signature on the back of them . . .do they need to be signed or was that always on the back of the tickets?
I took my mom to MGM about 3 weeks ago and they made her sign the back of her ticket before they would let her in. I don't ever remember that being required in the past with my out of town guests.
They will need to be signed. Doesn't matter whether you do it now or at the gate but they must be signed. That is what will tie that particular ticket to whoever signs it. If they have a problem with the biometric scan on future visits, they will have to show photo ID that matches the signature to prove they are who the ticket belongs to.
What about children?
I have six year old twins. They can print their names, but that's about it. And as far as my other children go, they can sign their names, but they don't have I.D.'s.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that if they are going to be scanning visitor's finders than you would have to sign the back to match the pass with the finger.
When did you order your tickets? I'm waiting for mine. I can't wait to held them in my hand, it will start to feel more real.
We just got back - they only used the finger scans for adults. They also made sure all tickets were signed - I signed my daughter's. I had trouble with my ticket alot but they never asked for ID. I suppose if our whole family had trouble, they might have but it was only me.
Hmmm, we just got back a few weeks ago and we never signed our MYW passes. CMs never said a word. Our DD4 signed hers only because she's into writing her name and we wanted it as a memento.
MagicalMom- I ordered my tickets on 2/14 and got them 3/4. It took a long time and felt even longer. I kept e-mailing them and getting no response. Finally, someone from Ticketmania called me (after I sent another email) and said they had e-mailed me. Never got any e-mails, strange. When they called they said they sent them 3/1, so they got to me fast, just took time getting them in the mail.
Yes they want you to sign but they dont check your ID. Also I do not believe the biometric finger scan works. we exchange passes all the time and see if anything happens. Never does. We just returned from a week there yesterday.
