Like most things Disney, they seem to change the policy on what they allow. Does anyone know if it is mandatory to allow a 10-12 year old the privledge of signing themselves in and out? We've started taking annual cruises but this could be a deal breaker for us next year. I'm sure there are plenty of responsible 10 year olds but I do not count my son among them. I just don't see him gaining that much maturity in the next year.

I may be wrong, but I think you still are allowed the option of NOT allowing your son to sign himself out at age 10. I completely understand, I am highly doubtful that my 8-year-old DD will be ready to sign herself out at age 10 either. At the very least you can be sure that the Lab pages you any time your son wants to leave. :)

As fast as he moves I shudder to think about how much he trouble he could get into between the time he left the clubs and we tracked him down.
