Possibly individual stateroom hosts need to get signatures, for whatever reason.Been on 8 cruises on 3 DCL ships (last one on the Wonder just a couple of weeks ago) and never signed for CC gifts. Maybe it is the stateroom host that makes the call.
We are silver and didn't sign for the CC gift when cruising to Alaska in 2015 on the Wonder. We will be on the Fantasy this August, will report back if CC gift has to be signed off.
Ok, I am wondering if maybe the CC level has something to do with it? Maybe gold and up need to sign due to nicer gifts?
And maybe for in room gifts it depends on the value?
Of course it may also be policy that you always need to sign, but not every stateroom host follows the rules?
One time the signature card was left with the gift. We just signed it and left it for the room host to pick up later.Possibly room host are told to try and get a signature but if they miss you more than x times then give up. If you happen to be around when they are collecting signatures they get one, if not then get on with more important work.
If you are only around the rooms during room cleaning or evening turndown, you probably aren't asked for a signature.
