Signatures and DDP

I apologize if this has been asked before, but I did a search and haven't found an answer, but perhaps I searched the wrong wording.

Anyway, we are a family of 4, myself, husband and 8 y.o. twins. We plan to do a split stay - 3 nights Poly and 3 nights BC. We would like to try 4 signature restaurants and I understand these restaurants require 2 TS credits each. My question is, since we are staying 3 nights at each resort, this gives each of us 3 TS credits. If we use 2 TS credits for one signature restaurant, that leaves us with 1 TS each. If we did a second signature, can we combine the remaining TS for the four of us to cover 2 signature meals and pay OOP for the other two meals? I hope this makes sense.

If I am reading this correctly, the answer is yes.

You would have to distinguish between adult and child credits - I think that last meal you would be able to get one adult and one child meal and pay for the others.
