Signature vs. Table Service??

I wanted to ask if anybody could explain the difference to me between a signature restaurant and just regular table service. I heard that Be Our Guest is changing to signature. My Disney friends rave about it, so I wanted to check it out, but I’m still learning the ropes. What I learned in my first trip last month was that planning is key. Could be going with kids or maybe my next trip will be another girls-only adventure!!

A Signature restaurant is a "high class" Table Service. It often has a dress code. In some cases, it's got something special going on, like Cinderella's Royal Table. When using Dining Plans, it will cost two credits instead of one. The entrees are often fancier, and always more expensive.

BOG is still just a rumor, and I wouldn't count on it being true.

I would go on the Disney website and check out the menus for one or two signatures and a few of the regular table service meals. It will give you a good sense of the difference in menus and pricing.

As others have said, the Signature Restaurants are considered to be higher end,fancier restaurants. The menus often are fancier, better wine lists and higher prices. Not everyone agrees that the menus of the Signature restaurants are better than other restaurants. Thats why checking the current menus is really important to see if the difference in price is worth it to you.

My experience is that food prep at the signatures is usually better and the presentation fancier (though not always). Service can be better, and most signatures aren't as crazy crowded/loud as some of the table service places.

Always keep in mind signature reastaurants are 2 dining credits if you're on the DDP.
