Signature Ticker help?

I've read the signature sticky but I cant find the answer to "how to make the ticker show up?"

I made one at the Dis Ticker thingy and I tried all three bits of code.

Can someone explain how to put the code in the signature so that the ticker shows up? I thought I knew how - but I cant make it work.

I'm sure its super easy and I am missing something obvious....
