Well, I completely redid my ADRs. I upgraded to the DDxP after deciding I wanted to do all signature restaurants. Mind giving me some advice about a few things? Just a note- the trip is an adult trip for just my Mom and myself. We want relaxing evenings with wine, but don't mind running around a little bit during the day- just not too much! She has some heart disease (although looking at her you'd never think it!) so we tried to pick places with less fried / cheesy food.

Saturday:

Arrive and Head To Epcot

2:30 Lunch: Not sure where yet. Thinking Teppan Edo (my concern is it looks so sterile in pictures now! Would this be a good day 1 place? We did this years and years ago) or Chefs De France. Thoughts?

9:30 Dinner: Flying Fish (after illuminations- we'll run over)

Sunday:

Magic Kingdom Day

2:30 Lunch: Kona Cafe

Relaxing At Hotel

9:30 Dinner: California Grill

Monday:

Epcot IN AM / HS in the afternoon

12:30 Lunch: I THINK we're going to do Coral Reef. Yes yes i know... but we'll get a simple lunch and just enjoy the tanks. Stupid idea?

7:35 Dinner: Citricos

Tuesday:

MK Morning

2:30 Lunch: The Wave

8:50 Dinner: Boma

Wednesday:

Animal Kingdom AM / MK late PM

This day is really confusing me. We want to see Wishes this day, but can only seem to get 5:15 as the earliest at Artist Point. I would even go after Wishes, but can only get 9:20- not enough time to get over there in time. I know we want to do AP this day- but not sure what to do for lunch. We don't like many of the AK choices. Any help on this day?

Thursday:

Some Epcot in AM / HS in the PM with Fantasmic

2:30 Lunch: Brown Derby F! Package

9:30 Dinner: Yachtsman Steakhouse

Friday:

Downtown Disney AM / Epcot late PM for EMH

Lunch: Not sure where? wanted to do WGPE when we were just on the regular dining plan- now feel like we should sit down. Is that silly? Perhaps I should still just do WGPE for ease. Would do Raglan Road, but not sure if they do the entertainment for lunch time.

Dinner: 6:15 Jiko

Any thoughts? Open to ANY thoughts. Some of these not worth it? If you were doing adult dining on the DDxP- would this be your schedule? I'm overwhelmed!!

One more note- one of the reasons we have to see Wishes that night is it's not playing 2-3 of the nights that we're there. I set up our itinerary based on touring plans on what park to go to each day. I could probably make it a bit more convenient dining wise by switching park days for a few days- going against touring plan suggestions. Thoughts on this?

The choices are solid. There is a bit of travel involved, but if you have your own transportation it won't be a problem at all.

Saturday
For lunch, I hear good things about both. While that's not helping, but at least you can rest assured that whichever you pick will be right :). I'd personally pick neither, but that's due to forced social interaction at Teppan, and a dislike of the menu (I'm a "little" picky, especially concerning which meats I eat) at Chefs. Nothing to do with theme or quality at either :p. For dinner, make sure to stake out a spot near the International Gateway in Epcot and you should be fine. They give you a little bit of leeway with your ADR and I can't imagine that it'd be packed that late.

Monday
There's nothing wrong with a simple meal and looking at fish :p. In fact, I'm doing the same thing in Sept. If you think you'll enjoy it, go for it! Citrico's is very tasty and you will enjoy it there.

Wednesday
A 5:15 at AP is probably one of, if not the earliest seatings they have. Most Sigs are open only for dinner, and they seem to open mostly between 5-5:30pm. If it were me, I'd eat an earlyish (11:30ish) CS over at AK (I like the taco salad at Restaurantasaurus, though if you don't like olives, remember to mention that, they're a pain to pick off ><). Alternatively both Yak & Yeti and Tusker House lunches also seem to get good marks (I'll be trying TH lunch in a couple months myself). Either way, I'd aim to get an early seating since dinner will be earlier than the others and you want to be hungry enough for AP ;).

Friday
WPE would work. Just because you're on DxDDP does not mean every meal has to be TS (most should be, but not every meal has to be). You'll be more than fine on value vs. cost at this point. Alternatively, the downstairs of the Wolfgang Puck restaurant (Wolfgang Puck Cafe) will also work. Jiko is also very very good. Ties with Citrco's as my favorites I did last year.

I do see that there's a lot of traveling that will be difficult using Disney transportation. If you have your own car, then it's not a problem, but something to think about. Also, for that FF day, you won't be able to get back into Epcot after it closes, so if driving, you may want to park at DHS or the TTC (and then bus from BWI back to TTC if it's available, or just take a cab, pretty much $15-$20 tops from anywhere on property to anywhere on property).

One more note- one of the reasons we have to see Wishes that night is it's not playing 2-3 of the nights that we're there. From your ticker, it looks like you're going a couple weeks before I am, this is a pretty light time of year. Unless TP has high crowd level numbers for that park for that day, I wouldn't worry too much about them. Most of mine also follow them as well, but that's mostly happenstance. Either way will work for you though, especially with an early AP reservation, you'll make it in plenty of time (remember that lower crowds also mean less people to fight with for a spot for Wishes!)
