We are going in September, 4 adult women and my niece who will turn 3 on the trip. Now most of our meals will be at low key restaurants 4 character meals. But one night we would like to do a nice meal at a signature restaurant that we have not tried before. My niece is pretty good in restaurants as it is, but she occaisionally gets antsy and is louder than she realizes. We deal with this immediately, but don't want to ruin anyone else's dinner. So which of this list would be the most accepting of a relatively well behaved 3 y.o. for an early dinner?

Narcosse's tends to be noisy IMHO, so an outburst or two from a 3yo shouldn't bother anyone.

The general noise level is higher in both Narcoossee's and Flying Fish so I would probably choose one of those. (I chose Flying Fish in your poll) I would be least inclined to choose Citrico's because, in my opinion, its the most quiet, adult atmosphere of the places you listed.

Plus if she gets too antsy, Narcoossee's has the balcony/porch area where you could take her to look at the water/boats and Flying Fish has the whole Boardwalk area (water, entertainment, etc) right out side.

I would say probably Narcoosees. Any reason California Grill isn't on your list? Personally i think that is the most child friendly of them all

I've only been to Narcoossee's and loved it. We had our 5/6yo with us and there were lot of other children there as well. Everyone seemed quite comfortable and we had a very nice "grown up" meal. There is a deck on the side of Narcoossee's, perfect for a time out. ;)

One tip if you go: arrive by boat. There is a boat from MK that let's you off just outside Narcoossee's, very easy. I also think it rather calming before dinner. After dinner we too the boat to the Poly, toured and took the monorail back to MK to board our resort bus.

Just reread your post, just remember if DN turns 3 during the trip then she is 2 at the start of the trip and offiicially 2 or "free" for the trip. Make sure you take advantage of that status: no park tickets needed for her, she can share from your plate and at a buffet they will feed her no charge. At a Signature restaurant you'll need to pay OOP for whatever you get for her, but that will be under $10.

We've taken our DS to several signature restaurants when we was 2 and 3 (and we're doing it again shortly.) The only one that was a complete disaster was Citrico's. Not a good place for a 3 year old at all. Cali Grill was great, and I would add it to your list if there isn't a reason you are avoiding it. It and Jiko were our favorites, but Jiko isn't particularly child friendly, either. It turned out to be a great experience, though, because the manager felt sorry for DS, who wouldn't eat anything offered, and went next door to Boma and made him a plate. We then took DS out to look at the animals and over to the playground for about half the meal when it got to be too long for him.

We're trying Artist Point with him next week, so I'll know more shortly!
