Signature Dining question

DH and I are thinking of trying out one of Disney's signature restaurants when we go in December.

How do I find out which restaurants are 'signature'? Is it correct that they would all take two Table Service credits on the dining plan?

1) Think of it this way.
2) If they charge Big Bucks, it is Signature.

Let's see if I can get this right...
  • Narcossees
  • Citricos
  • California Grill
  • Artist Point
  • Flying Fish
  • Yachtsman Steakhouse
  • Jiko
2 TS, but not exactly "signature dining"
  • Hoop De Doo Revue
  • CRT
  • Luau Show

Someone else chime in if my list is incomplete.

Add to the list: The Hollywood Brown Derby!

Yes, all signatures require 2 TS credits.

If you're on the regular DP, and want eat at a few signatures, you might save money by paying OOP for the signature meals.

Say you book a dinner at California Grill. I would use the CS credits for breakfast and the TS credit for lunch that day.

If you plant to eat at several signatures, you may be better off getting the Deluxe DP or just not doing any DP.

Thanks for the info. That's exactly what I was looking for!

We are on the regular dining plan, but will have an extra TS credit because of the way we have our week planned. Rather than convert it to a CS meal, we thought we would try one of the nicer restaurants.

Does anyone have a recommendation of their favorite?

DH's favorite is Narcoossee's. He loved the Maine lobster there.
DD's favorite if Flying Fish. She said the chicken is the best there.
Last week I was at Citricos and had the best steak there.
Yachtman's Steak House has the best bread, and California Grill has the best view, and you can watch Wishes from the roof off the restaurant.

If you want entertainment during your meal try Hoop De Doo Revue or the Luau Show.

We love the Signature Dining and hit a couple of those restaurants on each trip.

Whatever you decide, I'd really recommend making a reservation (or trying to) as soon as possible -- if you're going in 2 months, a lot of the signature dining locations will not have reservations left at this point.

Our favorite, hands down, is Jiko at the AKL.
It is a beautiful restaurant with warm, friendly servers, an excellent wine list and the food is outstanding.
On our last 2 visits it has also been very quiet. It is the most "adult" restaurant experience we have had at WDW.
Have a Great Trip.
