Signature Dining on DDP

If I am on the DDP (not deluxe) and I use 2 TS credits to eat at a signature restaurant, my meal will include an appetizer. Is this correct? Also,any of you who have done this, would you do it again or would you save your credits for the regular TS restaurants that only use one credit?

No, your meal will only include an entree, non alcoholic beverage and dessert.

You will get different opinions on whether it's worth it to do a signature restaurant on the regular dining plan. I'm of the opinion that it is not worth it, most entrees at signatures are not double the price of an entree at a regular restaurant so you will not get as much bang for you buck on the dining plan.

Meals on the regular dining plan do not include an appetizer for anyone over age 9 except: family style all you can eat meals that include an appetizer component (this would include the dinner shows); Cinderella's Royal Table (fixed price meal); Fantasmic Dining Package at Mama Melrose or Brown Derby; or the Le Cellier Chef's Selection fixed price menu.

Signature restaurants (other than CRT, dinner shows and Brown Derby on the Fantasmic Package) don't include appetizers on the regular plan.

Unless I read it wrong, this is not what the PDF about the DDP says. Is there anyone out there who has actually done this? I understand that appetizer is NOT included at regular TS restaurants.

Under signature restaurants, the brochure clearly states that the appetizer is for (Guests ages 3 - 9 only).

As others have said, signature restaurants are not worth it money wise as you will not have double the bill of a regular TS restuarant, however the food is really amazing and places like California Grill really can't be beaten for atmosphere/views etc

We also found that having a couple of 2TS meals aided us from eating too much and allowed us to go to other places to eat (ie hard rock cafe, or maybe just have a night off eating a sit down meal)
