Sign up kids for airline rewards?

Can kids be signed up for rewards programs on airtran & southwest etc, or just adults?

If your kid has a seat, they are eligible for anything you are. This includes everything from baggage allowance to frequent flier miles. A friend from back home has two small kids who are already silver if not gold on delta.

Sure! My son, now age 8, has earned more free airplane trips than most kids his ages have even taken!

FYI, my son's FF accounts all link to my email address - no need to have a separate one unless you want it.

My son's and husband's FF accounts for Southwest, Virgin America, and Jet Blue are all under MY email address. Just use a different password and you're fine.

You bet! We all have NWA/Delta skymiles. So does my 4 year old and 2 step-daughters who are 8 and 11! You fly, you get miles...

LOL I was just going to ask. Heck, before the new TSA thing, you didnt have to put in ages, so I bet they did get drink coupons.

At least with SWA, you had to check a box promising you were 21+ or else they wouldn't send them to you, LOL. I guess I could've lied and just kept his drink coupons for myself.

Yes by the time my daughter was 3 she earned a free flight with Southwest. Only problem is she really can only earn rewards for flights. Getting together 8 round trips in 2years might be a bit hard.
